Shania Twain Embraces the Evolution of Country Music

Shania Twain is fully embracing the transformation of country music, proud to be part of its ongoing evolution. Speaking with Fox News Digital at the People’s Choice Country Awards, Twain expressed her excitement about the genre’s new direction.

“I feel privileged to witness and be part of where country music is headed,” Twain said, acknowledging the changes while celebrating the genre’s growth.

As host of the country award show on September 26, Twain was thrilled to meet rising stars in the industry. At 59, Twain remains one of the best-selling music artists of all time, with over 100 million records sold, earning her the title “Queen of Country Pop.”

Despite her success, Twain shows no signs of slowing down. She launched her “Come On Over” Las Vegas residency in May and released her latest album, Queen of Me, in February. Twain draws inspiration from her passion for country music, calling herself a true fan of the genre.

In addition to her career, Twain has been open about embracing aging and maintaining her health. “Happiness plays a big role in staying fit,” she shared, adding that she is comfortable with the natural changes in her body, choosing to accept them rather than hide them.

Twain’s pre-show routine includes an all-liquid diet to avoid distractions while performing, ensuring her focus remains on the music her fans love.
