Kelly Clarkson Covers ‘Set Fire to the Rain’ From Adele

On Tuesday, February 7th, Kelly Clarkson covered Adele’s “Set Fire to the Rain” during The Kelly Clarkson Show.

While dressed in a black dress, wide belt and matching tights, she sang, “Sometimes I wake up by the door/ That heart you caught must be waiting for you/ Even now, when we’re already over/ I can’t help myself from looking for you/ I set fire to the rain/ And I threw us into the flames/ When it fell, something died/ ‘Cause I knew that that was the last time, the last time.”

The pop ballad was Adele’s third straight number one hit on the Billboard Hot 100 from her 2011 album, 21, that also featured hits such as “Rolling in the Deep” and “Someone Like You.”

Later on in the show, Clarkson was able to interview both Alison Brie and Michael Bolton. As well as, giving a preview for her latest job hosting the NFL Honors with assistance from football great, Michael Irvin.
