The Girl Scouts of Southern Alabama just got their Girl Scout Cookie season started, with Girl Scouts and their troops getting their communities ready to support them and the world’s largest entrepreneurial program for young girls.
This year you can stock up on your favorites like Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs, Do-si-dos, Adventurefuls, and Trefoils, as well as the latest addition the Raspberry Rally. The Girl Scout Cookie Program is the nation’s largest girl led business and leading financial literacy program for young girls. Girls are able to build five essential skills: goal setting, decision-making, money management, people skills, and business ethics.
If you know a Girl Scout you can ask them how they are selling cookies via the Digital Cookie online platform for local delivery. The Girl Scouts of Southern Alabama will be hosting cookie drive-thrus on January 13th, 2023 at their Montgomery and Mobile offices. However, the new Raspberry RallyTM cookie will help launch online and direct shipping sales of all flavors starting on February 27th.
Starting on January 13th, you will be able to enter your zip code into the Girl Scout Cookie Finder at www.girlscoutcookies.org to find a booth near you and purchase cookies from a local Girl Scout troop, or donate cookies to local causes.
Sales of cookies stops on March fifth, so make sure to stock up on your favorite cookie. The more cookies that are sold, the more experiences can be funded for the girls, such as STEM activities and traveling.
