Lil Wayne Has Been Sued By Ex-Chef for Wrongful Termination

A lawsuit coming from his former personal chef, that claims Lil Wayne fired her with unjust cause. Morghan Medlock is accusing the rapper of wrongful termination and retaliation, amongst other things. She claims that the problem occurred when she went with Lil Wayne for a Memorial Day trip to Las Vegas and had to suddenly leave when her ten year old child had a head injury that left him in the hospital.

Lil Wayne was reportedly delaying the takeoff of the private jet to return to L.A., by smoking on it, so she left the flight and found a different one. She had assumed that his team would understand given the situation, but she ended up terminated. The documents claim Wayne asked her if she was quitting, and that after saying that she was not, Medlock was given a cold shoulder on trying to return to work. Then told that she was being let go.

The chef says that her termination violates a California law that prohibits firing an employee due to them missing work to take care of a sick or inured child. Another lawsuit he is facing comes from his former assistant, Andrew Williams who filed a suit against Wayne for allegedly punching him in the face. Williams claimed that he went for medical attention after the incident and only received a letter from Lil Wayne and Young Money demanding he return a missing Bluetooth speaker and company backpack

Li Wayne filed documents himself that claimed Williams never had any injuries and that he rightfully fired him for not exercising “reasonable care and diligence.”
