Drake and 21 Savage recently announced on social media that they are going to be on NPR’s Tiny Desk. The pair’s collaborative album Her Loss is dropping on Friday, November fourth, Drake posted a cip of the upcoming performance on Instagram. His post read, “Thank you to @nprmusic @tinydesk for having the gang @21savage let’s go crazy,” in the clip Drake takes the lead.
“What’s up everybody, appreciate you joining us today, the audience, everybody at home, my name is Drake,” “21 Savage,” the Atlanta rapper chimed in, before Drake spoke again, “And this is our tiny desk. Let’s get into it.”
Drake and 21 originally planned on releasing Her Loss on october 28th but decided to push it back out of respect for Noah “40” Shebib who contracted Covid-19 while working on the tape. The record’s release also cause A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie to delay his own album release, saying that he didn’t want any smoke with the duo’s project. Boogie confirmed it on his own Instagram stating that, “Sorry but album dropping in December now, Drake was dropping same day and I’m not with that.”
