Lamont Dozier Passes Away at The Age of 81 Years Old

According to ultimateclassicrock.com, Lamont Dozier, a Motown songwriting legend, has passed away at the age of 81 years old. He took part in hits by the Supremes, the Isley Brothers and Four Tops prior to returning to the top of the charts with Phil Collins later on. Dozier’s passing has been confirmed by his son, Lamont Dozier Jr. without a cause of death being released. In total, Dozier collaborated on over 100 top ten hits, according to the Free Press. Holland-Dozier-Holland were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1988 and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1990. Dozier will continue to live on through his countless hit songs.
