Joe Walsh Reunites The James Gang To Perform a Concert

According to ultimateclassicrock.com, Joe Walsh has released the lineup for his sixth annual VetsAid charity concert, and this year includes a reunited James Gang. Walsh had first played with the James Gang in 1968. Their performance will have Jimmy Fox and Dale peters, who both were in the trio with Walsh on 1970’s James Gang Rides Again. The performance will be taking place on November 13th at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio and will also feature names such as Dave Grohl, Nine Inch Nails, the Black Keys and the Breeders. The concert will be the James Gang’s final performance. According to Walsh, “It all started in Ohio, Picking up my first guitar as a kid in Columbus set me on a musical journey to Kent State, Cleveland and then the world. Now it is a great privilege and humbling opportunity for me to share the stage once again with my original James Gang buddies and with this absolutely incredible group of Ohio rock legends like Trent Reznor and Nine Inch Nails, the Black Keys, the Breeders and Dave Grohl. I believe in Ohio and look forward to celebrating our musical legacy while honoring our veterans with VetsAid 2022.” Proceeds from the event are going to be donated to veterans’ services, with VetAid planning to distribute grants only to organizations based in Ohio this year. Since their first show in 2017, VetsAid has been able to disburse $2 million dollars to several organizations that support our veterans and their families. Tickets for the show will be going on sale on august fifth.
