Bruce Springsteen Fans Angry over Outlandish Prices

According to ultimateclassicrock.com, Bruce Springsteen fans are outraged about the singer charging outlandish ticket prices for his 2023 arena tour, specifically the “Official Platinum” seating being offered through Ticketmaster which are into the thousands. The first six dates went on sale on Wednesday, and fans quickly voiced their concerns on social media. One tweet mentioned the prices in saying, “Tampa midfloor for $4,400 each, anyone?” While another stated beside a screenshot of a ticket listed at $4,309.30, “You can be confused and angry at TM, the secondary market, Bruce, capitalism, the state of the world, whatever, but it is the person willing to buy this ticket who really makes it possible to begin with, While most fans have encountered exorbitant ticket prices on the resale market, these prices are notable, and perhaps ironic, due to their “official” status — an attempt to keep costs “closer to their true market value.” Nobody rom Springsteen’s band commented on the subject, however, E Street Band guitarist Stevie Van Zandt did in saying that, “I have nothing whatsoever to do with the price of tickets. Nothing. Nada. Niente. Bubkis. Dick.”
