Kanye West Gets Sued by a Production Company for 7 million Dollars

According to hiphopdx.com, the lawsuits keep piling up for Kanye West, as another one was discovered by TMZ earlier this year when production company Phantom Labs sued Kanye West in May for over $7 million dollars in unpaid services. Phantom Labs alleges that they helped Kanye produce four events within 18 months that included Sunday Services, Miami’s Donda 2 event, the Free Larry Hoover Concert with Drake in Los Angeles, and were also going to work with Kanye for Coachella before he pulled out of performing at the festival. Phantom Labs attorney Howard King made claims that the payments stopped coming in around February when Kanye West’s bill reached over six million dollars. They also allegedly had to pay around $1.1 million in cancellation fees when Kanye decided to not perform at Coachella, which brought the sum owed by the artist up to $7.1 million dollars total. Kanye was originally supposed to use his $8 million payment from the festival to pay off his debts to Phantom Labs, and once he backed out of performing, he left the production company with the bill which led to them suing Kanye West for a breach of contract.
