According to hollywoodreporter.com, Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio who played classic Marvel Comics characters Daredevil and The Kingpin on Netflix, have now joined the series ‘Echo’. The movie is the most recent sign that Marvel Studios’ is making an effort to insert popular characters from Netflix’s now defunct shows such as Daredevil into their world. Sources have said a plotline will include Daredevil searching for a former ally of his. It is rumored that the ally is Jessica Jones, another Marvel Character who had her own series on Netflix played by Krysten Ritter. If this is true the only Netflix heroes left that have not been reintroduced would be Luke Cage, Iron Fist and the Punisher. Cox previously starred as Daredevil in three seasons of the show on Netflix, and D’Onofrio played Kingpin in Daredevil’s first and third season. Following this news, another season has been ordered of the former Daredevil Netflix show now that it has been moved over to Marvel Studios, making for an unofficial fourth season of the show.
