Ozzy Osbourne Releases Title Track From New Album ‘Patient Number 9’

According to UltimeClassicRock.com, Ozzy Osbourne has released “Patient Number 9,” which is the title track for his newest album. This is his first release since Ordinary Man, his studio album from 2020. The track has Jeff Beck featured on it and was also co-written by Ozzy’s wife, Sharon. Ozzy had this to say about the latest track, “The song is about a mental institution. Having someone like Jeff Beck play on my album is just incredible, a total honor. There’s no other guitar player that plays like him and his solo on ‘Patient Number 9′ is just jaw-dropping.” The album Patient Number 9 also features guest lead guitarist Eric Clapton, Black Sabbath’s Tony Iommi, Mike McCready of Pearl Jam, there was also session work from Duff McKagan of Guns N’ Roses’, late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, and Jane’s Addiction’s Chris Chaney. Fans can expect the full album’s release sometime later this year.
