According to LouderSound.com, Pink Floyd has stated that they are going to release a physical copy of their latest track Hey Hey Rise Up on both Vinyl and CD. They also said that all of the proceeds from the single will go directly to Ukraine Humanitarian Relief. The single is going to be available on July 15th for purchase, however in Japan it will be released on August third, and the USA, Canada, Australia, and Mexico it will be released on October 21st. This track was the first that Pink Floyd has recorded since their 1994, “The Division Bell”. The single features David Gilmour, Nick Mason, bassist Guy Pratt, vocals from Andriy Khlyvnyuk of Ukrainian band Boombox, and Sawhney on keyboards. When the song was originally released in April it was number 1 in 27 different countries. Both purchased formats will also contain a reworked version of A Great Day For Freedom from The Division Bell.
