Beyonce surprised fans on Wednesday by revealing the title and release date of her seventh studio album. According to a Variety report, Beyonce will be featuring both country and dance tracks on the album. Beyonce teased the news prior to announcing it officially by changing her Instagram and Twitter bio to read ‘ Act I RENAISSANCE 7.29’. It was also reported that Ryan Tedder will be contributing to the artists newest album as well, he helped co-write her 2008 hit Halo. It is still unclear if the country songs will all be a part of the same album or if it will be released in different segments. This will be the first album Beyonce has released since ‘Lemonade’ back in 2016. She was quoted in saying that, ‘With all the isolation and injustice over the past year, I think we are all ready to escape, travel, love, and laugh again. I feel a renaissance emerging, and I want to be part of nurturing that escape in any way possible.’
