Townsquare Media’s WBUF Radio station in Buffalo decided to change from classic rock to active rock Friday stating its “Buffalo’s Real Rock”. A sample of an average hour according to Mediabase is things such as Living Colour, “Cult Of Personality;” Nita Strauss f/ David Draiman, “Dead Inside;” Rage Against The Machine, “Testify;” AC/DC, “Thunderstruck;” Puddle Of Mudd, “Control;” Red Hot Chili Peppers, “Black Summer;” Candlebox, “Far Behind;” Jimmy Eat World, “The Middle;” Guns N’ Roses, “Civil War;” Lit, “My Own Worst Enemy.” Showing a growing amount of support for Active Rock in the community of listeners. While classic rock is still popular there seems to be a growing marking for both alternative and Active Rock.
