The Weeknd Announces 2022 North American Tour

After having to postpone touring three times due to the pandemic, the Weeknd has finally announced a 2022 tour in support of his recent albums Dawn FM and After Hours.

With Doja Cat as his special guest, the Weeknd will be beginning his trek across the United States and Canada before traveling around the rest of the world, including Mexico, South America, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.

Furthermore, the hip-hop star has also partnered with the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) to launch the XO Humanitarian Fund. Working toward ending the global hunger crisis, the Weeknd, in addition to his initial donation of $500,000, will be contributing $1 from each tour ticket sold.

“The goal with this fund is to provide immediate life-saving support to people who are on the brink of starvation,” the Weeknd said in a statement. “I’m so thankful to have WFP as a partner and to further expand our reach to those who need it most.”
