Keith Urban Takes Over Adele’s Cancelled Las Vegas Residency Dates

Keith Urban is set to take over a portion of Adele’s recently-canceled Las Vegas residency dates. He will be performing in place of the British singer on March 25th, 26th, and 30th, as well as April 1st and 2nd.

Technically, the Australian country singer will be showing up for his own residency at Caesars Palace about two months earlier with these dates, as Urban’s time in Sin City was initially slated to begin on May 30th.

“VEGAS !!!!! We’re coming BACK to the @ColosseumatCP !” Urban wrote to reveal the news on Twitter yesterday morning. “See you SO soon.’

Adele abruptly postponed her three months of residency in Vegas with just 24 hours’ notice at the end of last week. She originally cited COVID-19 concerns as a big factor for the decision, but now some sources claim that Adele canceled the residency after a set design disagreement involving an onstage pool.

The postponement of Adele’s shows has resulted in a lot of disappointment from fans, as well as the financial frustration of wasted flights and tickets.
