In a recent interview, Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder revealed that the iconic grunge band hopes to work with the multi-faceted producer, musician, and songwriter Andrew Watt on their next album following their 2020 release Gigtaon.
Watt has notably worked on material by numerous big-name artists across genres, including Post Malone, Miley Cyrus, Elton John, Ozzy Osbourne, and more.
“We’ll make a record with Andrew, I believe,” Vedder said, sharing that the conversation about their collaboration has been in the works for a while.
Vedder also revealed insight into Pearl Jam’s near future, which should consist of both touring and recording.
“In between [touring], I think we’ll be recording,” Vedder continued, “because now we’ve got a healthy ambition to do so. I think we’ll move quick for a year or two, then I can see us slowing down for a little bit.”
