The 2021 Grammys Have Officially Been Rescheduled, Moved to Las Vegas

The 2021 Grammys have officially been rescheduled and pushed a state away, as the biggest night in music accolades has shifted from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California, at the end of January to the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on April 3rd.

While there was no statement from the Recording Academy regarding the reasoning behind the new location, it is speculated that the Crypto.Com Arena is fully booked for the next few months–including both a Clippers and a Lakers game on April 3rd.

The Grammys’ new date has also caused a bit of a rift in the music awards world, as it will be bumping the CMT Music Awards, which was initially scheduled for the same date.

The Daily Show host Trevor Noah will still be hosting the event, which will be broadcast live as well as streamed on Paramount+.
