Spoon Announces Upcoming U.S. Tour Dates

In support of their upcoming album, Lucifer on the Sofa, Spoon has just announced a trek of U.S. shows with support from Margaret Glaspy on the first chunk of dates and Geese on the final few.

The tour begins on February 8th in Santa Ana, California, three days before the release of the album on February 11th. Spoon will then travel across the country, eventually wrapping up on June 4th in Phoenix, Arizona.

“It’s the sound of classic rock as written by a guy who never did get Eric Clapton,” Spoon frontman Britt Daniel said of Lucifer on the Sofa, the band’s 10th studio creation.

Earlier this week, the Texas rockers released “Wild,” a track that will appear on the upcoming album. You can listen to the song below.
