This November, join Martha Stewart for “Table Wars,” a New HGTV Show About Extreme Table Setting

When it comes to setting a chic table, not many can top entertaining legend Martha Stewart. And this fall, she’s making her return to HGTV in an extreme tabletop and special event design competition series called “Table Wars,” on which she will serve as lead judge. Get your napkin folds ready.

Other judges on the series will include Emmy Award-winning actress Tamera Mowry-Housley and event planner and designer Chris Hessney. The show will follow eight of the country’s best tabletop and event designers making the most eye-catching creations across six episodes.

Set to premiere on November 12, 2021, the seven-episode series will see the competitors “design and install the ultimate themed dining environment that features stunning tablescapes, centerpieces, lighting and displays to wow the judges and avoid elimination,” according to the show’s press release.  The show will be available to stream on discovery+ the same day.

Table Wars has the best ingredients for a captivating, edge-of-your-seat competition series,” said Jane Latman, the president of HGTV, in a release. “The competitors are among the best in the business, so the drama, imagination and personal stakes are at an all-time high. And the results are pure eye candy!”

In each episode, During each episode of Table Wars, the competitors must design and install the ultimate themed dining environment that features stunning tablescapes, centerpieces, lighting and displays to wow the judges and avoid elimination. The finalist who delivers the most over-the-top event space will win the Table Wars title and a $50,000 cash prize!

If that weren’t enough, there are also digital/social media extras for fans to enjoy. On TikTok, HGTV will follow the Table Wars action each week, including close-ups of the show-stopping designs and reveal fun behind-the-scenes moments from the series. And in the new weekly digital series Table Wars: The Look for Less, host and designer Ursula Carmona will recreate the winning tablescape for a fraction of the cost. It will be available to view on HGTV.com, Facebook, Instagram and HGTV GO.
