Although initially set to drop at the end of this month, Lil Uzi Vert’s Pink Tape, according to the rapper himself, will be taking longer than anticipated to release.
“I’m taking my time so it won’t suck,” Uzi told a fan in a social media clip last Friday, expressing concerns that “people on the internet” will criticize the project if it’s anything less than perfect.
Uzi originally teased the upcoming release of Pink Tape over the summer. “It’s going through its mixing process right now,” he said back in August. Apparently, the process continues and will continue until the rapper is satisfied with the highly anticipatory creation.
