For the first time since 2018, Jack White has released new, solo music. The new track, “Taking Me Back,” appears in the trailer for the video game Call of Duty: Vanguard.
White recorded and produced the song at his Third Man Studios in Nashville, Tennessee, and notably plays every instrument on the track.
“Taking Me Back” has been released in two versions, the original, with its guitar-heavy sound, and a stripped-back version fittingly titled “Taking Me Back (Gently).”
