Jessica Seinfeld is releasing her fifth cookbook in the fall and it features some of her family’s favorite recipes, including Jerry Seinfeld’s go-to dinner. Vegan, At Times is a collection of plant-based meals that reflect the Seinfeld’s family switch toward a more flexitarian diet.
In a recent exclusive interview with People magazine, Jessica said that while her family isn’t necessarily full of dedicated vegans, they do tend to eat plant-based pretty often compared to before. “Humans love variety,” she said. “Sometimes we eat healthy and sometimes we don’t. If you can eat vegan food a few days a week, you will feel better, have more energy, do good for animals and the planet.”
The cookbook will include 120 plant-based meals. On the cover, Jessica can be seen in her kitchen surrounded by fruits and vegetables shooting a running garden hose into the sky. Along with the recipes, Vegan, At Times has stories about how the Seinfeld family adapted their diet, tips for creating a vegan pantry, and the fresh ingredients one should always have on hand when they want to quickly throw together a vegan meal.
Out of all of the meals, Jessica said that Jerry’s favorite is her Roasted Chile Rellenos. Other dishes included are Spaghetti and Meatless Balls, Butternut Squash Risotto, Mushroom Toast, and Mac & Cheese.
Vegan, At Times will officially hit shelves on October 12 of this year and is currently available for pre-order on Amazon for both hardcover and Kindle editions.
