On Thursday night, the Philadelphia 76ers thoroughly defeated the steaming-hot Los Angeles Lakers, 105-87. 76ers center Joel Embiid led the team in points scored with 26, while backup center Andre Drummond led the team with 10 rebounds. While the Lakers failed in a collective effort, power-forward Anthony Davis had an incredible night after scoring 31 points and securing 12 rebounds.
The Golden State Warriors also continued to get back on track after defeating the Minnesota Timberwolves, 124-115. The Warriors had an effective night as a team, with multiple players scoring more than ten points. Specifically, point guard Steph Curry had a great night, scoring 29 points, securing eight rebounds, and dishing out six assists.
