2022 NBA Finals Set as Celtics Face Heat, Mavericks Take on Warriors

The final four teams of the NBA Playoffs are set after an exciting weekend of Game 7 basketball games.

The Boston Celtics successfully knocked off the reigning champion Milwaukee Bucks with a 109-81 Game 7 victory on Sunday afternoon. In the upcoming Eastern Conference finals, the Celtics will face the Miami Heat, who made it to the finals in 2020. After an impressive series from Boston, the Heat should fear the offensive firepower of the Celtics’ star players, including Jayson Tatum, Grant Williams, and Jaylen Brown.

Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals tips off May 17th at 5:30 pm PST.

The Dallas Mavericks shocked the world as they knocked out the No. 1 seed Phoenix Suns on Sunday, with a 123-90 victory. After an impressive season, the Suns were poised to win the NBA championship, but star Maverick Luka Doncic carried Dallas past Phoenix with a Game 7 victory on Sunday. The Mavericks will move on to face the touted Golden State Warriors, who come into the Western Conference Championship as the favorite. Two of the best point guards in the NBA will be the face of the Western Conference finals, as Steph Curry hopes to lead the Warriors back to the finals, while Doncic will do his best to spoil Golden State’s vision.

The Western Conference Finals begin on May 18th at 6 pm PST.
