Chiefs, Bengals, Rams, 49ers Move One Weekend Closer to the Super Bowl

Many will be calling this past weekend one of the greatest in NFL Playoff history.

Saturday afternoon, the Cincinnati Bengals defeated the Tennessee Titans, 19-16. The Bengals knocked off the AFC’s No. 1 seed on a last-second field goal by their rookie kicker, Evan McPherson.

On Saturday evening, the San Francisco 49ers also defeated the Green Bay Packers with a last-second field goal, winning the game, 13-10. The Packers were the NFC’s No. 1 seed and were completely shut down on their home field.

Sunday morning, the Los Angeles Rams defeated defending Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 30-27. While the Bucs almost executed an epic comeback after being down 27-3, the Rams won on a last-second field goal.

Finally, on Sunday evening, the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Buffalo Bills, 42-36. Both teams scored a total of 18 points in the last minute and thirteen seconds of the game, sending the match into overtime. This led to the Chiefs scoring their go-ahead touchdown.

The Kansas City Chiefs will now host the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, the 30th, at 12 PM. The Los Angeles Rams will host the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night at 3:30 PM. Both winners will face off in the Super Bowl.
